Rory Sky is a dynamic London-based artist, music producer, singer, and songwriter, celebrated for her electrifying performances and genre-blending soundscapes. With roots in Lagos, Nigeria, and Cameroon, and having been raised in the UK, she seamlessly fuses Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro-pop, Disco, R&B, House, Rap, and romantic synths with commanding yet dreamy vocals.

Her musical journey boasts performances at esteemed venues and festivals across the UK, America, and Africa, including Notting Hill Arts Club, The Barbican Walthamstow Garden Party, ART Night, African Fashion Week London, DNC Group Events -Alpha Lounge, Badehaus in Germany, Southlands Live, and DJ Therapy Bariga in Nigeria. Rory has also shared stages with renowned artists like Yxng Bane, Cadet, and Silvastone at events such as the O2 London, AC3 Festival in Atlanta, and Love Dough UK.

In the studio, Rory's versatility shines through collaborations with artists across the globe. Notably, she produced on her single "Juice" featuring rapper Parker V guitar played in by was mixed and mastered by respected Ghanaian producer MikeMillzOnEm. In Nigeria, she teamed up with Eg-Royce on tracks like "Rain" and "In de Morning," and in New York, she collaborated with reggae and hip-hop artist Tuu Ra on "Champion Ting."

Rory's music has garnered significant radio play, with tracks such as "Attract," "Perfect," and "Juice" receiving airplay on stations like Capital Xtra - DJ Semtex, Reprezent Radio - Laughta, TribeUrban Radio (DJ Special D), and Radio 9 UK plus more

In 2024, Rory Sky collaborated with Sammyoung celebrity produced from Dubai to release the singles "Alive" and "Yansh," as part of an eight track body of work exploring ideas of two different artists/ music producers with different influences coming together. Alive was played on rotation on BBC 1xtra by DJ Target, Theo and Afrobeats chart ones to watch as well as being Apple & Amazon music playlisted, there are still more tracks come including Bad to the Bone which is an absolute banger full of Afrobeats flavour.

Beyond her musical talents, Rory has been recognised for her contributions to the industry. Her instrumental track "Ready To Dance" was featured globally during Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Pageant at Buckingham Palace, as seen on BBC and Sky News. Additionally, she was highlighted by the UK National Lottery Heritage Fund during their 25th anniversary for her contributions to the music industry. Rory Sky music production was also featured in WF Grime film developed and curated by Beatroots.

Even in education Rory Sky delivery has been vast delivering music performance work shops for Music Colleges, MVP Media and sound track with the young people for Tavaziva Dance and The Royal Academy of Dance - Journeying Between projects in years 1 & 2. As well as music production for Waltham forest & Newham council young people.

Despite challenges, including undergoing surgery and speech therapy due to vocal cord issues, and recent personal connection with the spoonie community. Rory's passion for music remains unwavering. She continues to captivate audiences with her performances, often incorporating live music with guitarist as well as DJ elements with awesome female DJ's like Dayo Dj Dlite.
